  • WHAT SUPPORT DOES THE DISTRICT PROVIDE TO ELEMENTARY PARENTS WHO WANT TO HOME-SCHOOL THEIR CHILDREN?  Vineyard Elementary School offers a voluntary instructional support program for students in grades 1-8.  The program is designed to assist parents who wish to instruct their children at home.  It requires involvement of adults who can provide direction and monitor student progress.  A credentialed, consulting teacher meets regularly with student and parent to advise on instructional strategies.  The program also provides educational materials that meet the district and state framework guidelines.  There is no cost to program participants.  If you feel your child's needs would be best met through home study, call (925) 606-4799 to speak to the Vineyard Elementary School Principal.
